Ready, Set, PAINT!

I love crafting--if I see a new idea, I'll go on YouTube and figure out how to do it. Earlier this year I tried my hand at macrame, hand knitting, and creative hand writing. In my spare time I've made close to 400 face masks, and I'm always working on a t-shirt blanket.

One of my favorite things to do, however, is chalk painting. If there's an opportunity to paint, I'll drop everything else! Recently a neighbor messaged me that there were a table and 2 chairs at the dumpster. My daughter and I ran to check them out. I wish you could have seen the comedy: they were too heavy to carry home, so we loaded them in car with both back doors open, and slowly drove home.

They were in perfect condition, someone just didn't want them! So I cleaned them up, watched a show that evening, and painted them.

Perfection!

Chalk painting your furniture can be fun--you take something old and make it new. It's also very forgiving--if you don't like what you did, you can paint over again. You can totally do this!

Sometimes the most difficult part is just choosing the color, and now that part is no longer difficult! Bring in a picture of what you're wanting to paint, and we will help you decide. We'll help you think through different factors like size, space, and style. With 30 different shades to choose from, you are definitely going to find a color you love!

Below is the link to our how-to's of chalk painting and a video to help you with each step.

So what are you waiting for? Ready...Set...PAINT!!
